- Local Gift Basket Hand Delivery Policy within Designated Zip Code Zones
Gift baskets are available for local hand delivery within specified zip code zones, subject to any restrictions. Deliveries are scheduled Monday through Friday, between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
To ensure a successful delivery, we will proactively contact your recipient in advance. During this contact, we will confirm a suitable day and time within our regular delivery hours. Upon establishing contact with the recipient, we will schedule the gift basket delivery, accordingly, aligning with the confirmed day and time.
- Signature Requirement: Please be aware that a signature is mandatory proof of delivery for our services.
If no one is available to receive the delivery during the confirmed time, a re-delivery fee will be applied. We strive to make every delivery convenient and successful, and this fee is necessary to cover the additional costs associated with re-delivery attempts.
For the safety of your gifts and to maintain the quality of our service, we do not leave gift baskets outside residential homes under any circumstances. This policy applies without exceptions.
- Delivery for Homes/Secured Gated Communities/Condos
For gift basket deliveries to secured gated communities or condos, a signature is mandatory as proof of delivery. This signature can be provided by the recipient or, if preferred, by the front desk/security attendant. Once the delivery has been signed for, Joyce's Baskets considers the order fulfilled.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, or non-delivery of the gift basket. It is our policy not to leave a gift basket without obtaining a signature. Your cooperation is appreciated in ensuring a secure and successful delivery process.
- Gift Basket Deliveries to Local Hotels
For gift basket deliveries to local hotels, we take care to deliver directly to the Concierge Desk, Guest Services, or Bell Captains Desk, securing a place at the location for the gift delivery. In addition to obtaining a signature, Joyce's Baskets also captures a photograph of the gift basket at the delivery location, further confirming the successful delivery. Once the signature, date, time, and photograph are acquired, we consider the order fulfilled.
It is important to note that we cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, or non-delivery of the gift basket by hotel staff after it has been delivered and signed for. Regrettably, we have no control over events that may occur after the gift basket has been delivered to the designated area. We appreciate your understanding of this limitation in our control and strive to provide a secure and efficient delivery service up to the point of obtaining the required signature and photograph.
